American Revolution in Germany
Of course somewhere that Revwar is very popular is Germany - the annual event at Fulda is American Revolution with a particular emphasis on the Hessian involvement which is only natural but there is also some Patriot groups out there and one of my favourites is this one

Kelmarsh War of 1812 skirmish
The big multi period event at Kelmarsh in the UK revisited its 'Attack on the Fort' scenario as a War of 1812 era battle. Looks like it was good. Revwar reenactors are drafted in as 1812 US Militia. These photos are from the History Live FB page.

Louis Fregier,
Yesterday we lost the great French military artist Louis Fregier, after a long illness. He was a much loved and respected man whose talent wasn't dimmed by his illness. Rest in Peace
