25th July British capture Fort Niagara

The Battle of La Belle-Famille, July 24, 1759
 from here…/04/old-fort-niagara-par…/

On display in Derby

Benjamin West. Completed between 1764 and 1768 this picture is usually ascribed as General Johnson Saving a Wounded French Officer from the Tomahawk of a North American Indian. It is possible it depicts the siege of Niagara. The Light Infantry figures are worth a look. Andrew Bamford mentioned it is on display in Derby at the Pickford House Museum

Happy 40th birthday Ulster American Folk Park

Fort Ticonderoga fife and drums

New Royal Artillery uniforms now sported. Looks great.

Galloping Major redcoats

Three men of the 60th Foot firing - no lace on the coats and I've sculpted them without swords. They could also be painted as soldiers of H.M. Independent Companies of Foot or other line regiments with lace removed.
Watch out for notifications for planned launch of British regulars for the 7 Years War & French & Indian War.
