A Man and Woman of the Ottigaumies by Jonathan Carver 1781. Sauk and Fox history.I was approached by a representative of the Mesquakie a few years ago and we presented them with a 18th century period repro redcoat for their museum. One of our group went over to accompany it and had a great time. Their allegiance to the British Crown was something they still took very seriously and dated back to the 1730s I think.
To whom it may concern: I am trying to locate representatives of the Mesquakie (Fox) Indians in Dubuque Iowa, would you possibly no anyone that I could contact?
