Title

Portrait of Captain Samuel Blodget in Rifle Dress

Date

ca. 1786

Interesting blog piece here - seems like the pullover type can't be substantiated for the Revwar.

  1. The pullover type frock was still in use in the 20th century. Without frocking it was still being worn in the 19th century. Yes it was definately still in use during the revolution. It is a work frock, worn in England, France & Europe & taken to the New World.
