Flintlock and Tomahawk

This blog has been getting quite popular recently for which I am grateful so I thought I would post a pic by me from about 10 years ago which I found recently as part of an unfinished piece on Little Turtle's confederacy. Not finished but I like it's comic book stylee.

  1. Nice sketch, I got a few of those myself - if you like we can exchange, they do not fit on my blog , email me - although as per Little Turtle Confederacy I have my doubts that was any confederacy by that Miami chief, I always inclined to say the Shawnee had the leading role. I think, based on several yeas of research back in the 1990s during my university studies, that he was one of the leaders but the name for the 1780s and 1790s confederacies stuck because of his adopted son notoriety during the early 1800s with then media and politicians etc (before he got killed near Chicago ) and the Anglo-American historians' need to find principal movers and shakers (especially during the 19th century)
