Wilhelm von Knyphausen
Yesterday was the anniversary of the capture of Fort Washington by a mainly Hessian force. So to celebrate it and to continue my interest in things Hessian we look at the career of Wilhelm Von Knyphausen. He had an interesting military life starting out in the army of Frederick the Great.
