Toy Revolutionary war soldiers

Bit of nostalgia for you - do you remember this ad? Was in the DC/Marvel comics back in the day. Fired my imagination and I remember wishing I could have this set. I have subsequently seen the figures in the flesh and they aren't that good. But that's the appeal of these old adverts - they promised the world. See the figures here

    I had these when I was like 8. I wish I had them now. They were flats. You cant touch them now...
