The Rev war comes to Yorkshire! On the weekend of the 18th and 19th September 2021 at Oakwell Hall, Birstall, W Yorkshire.
Members of the 6th Virginia, 33rd Foot and 43rd foot plus guests will garrison the house and clash in a skirmish!
This event commemorates the Batt family, Who were ruined by the English Civil War. In the early 18th century they emigrated to Virginia and set up a plantation near Richmond.
At the time of the Revolutionary war, the Batt descendants were part of the Virginia militia.

The Battle of Bushy Run was fought on August 5–6, 1763, in western Pennsylvania, between a British column under the command of Colonel Henry Bouquet and a combined force of Delaware, Shawnee, Mingo, and Huron warriors. This action occurred during Pontiac's Rebellion.
