While on the subject of the French in the American Revolution I noticed the Perry's have released some new 28mms for this - they look good - here's some of the personality figures. They are Lt. Gen de Rochambeau, Maj. Gen. Marquis de Chastellux, Maj. Gen. Marquis de St. Simon, Duc de Lauzun, an engineer officer with telescope, a topographical engineer and a mounted ADC receiving a message from an commissaire ordinnateur.

This is the first stage of an excellent project. This is the corner tower of a recreation of the fort in the movie Drums Along the Mohawk...
I love Perry's figures. Even the long lines of men wearing the same uniform somehow seem to allow each to carry across a unique personality.
