Northwest Passage (Novel)

This is one of the most celebrated of the French and Indian war in fiction contenders. It's probably a bit dated now but I remember it as being quite grisly. Wiki here

    How dated? Political correctness? For shame, Somerset! The second part is actually as superb as the first part which leads to the raid on St. Francis. Then again you are a self-confessed non-reader of novels!
