This sketch was made by John Andre in the months prior to the Start of the American Revolution. Lt Andre was serving with the Light Infantry Company of Lord Bertie's regiment. Two Light Infantry soldiers are seen on the left, dancing with Native Americans (likely Mohawks), and French Canadian citizens. This is the only known image from the period which depicts men of Lord Bertie's regiment.
