Attack of Fort Nelson/York Factory (Fort Bourbon) in 1697 by D'Iberville's troops.

 Fort taken by D'Iberville on September 13, 1697. Drawing made to illustrate the fighting in Newfoundland and Hudson Bay during the war of the League of Augsburg (1688-1697). Drawing published in 1722 then in 1753. Translation of letters ; A : disembarkation of ammunition and food. B : French camp called Camp Bourbon. C : Mortar hidden in a wood. D : Skirmishes. E : Fort Nelson (York Factory).
