Raid on Ruddle’s Station 1780 | Original Painting by Doug Hall

Ruddell's Station was attacked by British and Indian troops in 1780. About twenty inhabitants were killed at the site. The survivors were subjected to a forced march to Detroit, where they remained prisoners for the remainder of the Revolutionary War. The captives of Ruddle's Station
